To make it easier for you to get to the Maschseefest, we have summarised the key traffic measures and restrictions for you.<\/p><p data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"682\">\u00a0<\/p><h3 data-section-id=\"7m36tq\" data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"726\">Arthur-Menge Embankment<\/h3><p data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"968\">The <strong data-start=\"732\" data-end=\"753\">Arthur-Menge Embankment<\/strong> is from the <strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"789\">20 July to 11 August<\/strong> between the car park on Robert-Enke-Stra\u00dfe and Kurt-Schwitters-Platz is closed to motor vehicle traffic. The bus routes <strong data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"930\">100 and 200<\/strong> are exempt from this ban.<\/p><p data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1189\">During the set-up and dismantling periods (20\u201322 July and 10\u201311 August), cyclists will only be able to use the northern cycle path. During this time, bus routes 100 and 200 will not be able to travel along Arthur-Menge-Ufer.<\/p><h3 data-section-id=\"1ewn225\" data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1224\">Recommended alternative routes<\/h3><p data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1313\">The following diversions are recommended for Culemannstra\u00dfe and Arthur-Menge-Ufer:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1589\"><li data-section-id=\"1udz3xm\" data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1462\">Beuermannstra\u00dfe or Bruchmeisterallee \u2013 Waterloostra\u00dfe \u2013 Lavesallee \u2013 Friederikenplatz \u2013 Friedrichswall \u2013 Aegidientorplatz \u2013 Hildesheimer Stra\u00dfe<\/li><li data-section-id=\"34su1l\" data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1589\">Hildesheimer Stra\u00dfe \u2013 Aegidientorplatz \u2013 Friedrichswall\/Friederikenplatz \u2013 Lavesallee \u2013 Am Sch\u00fctzenplatz \u2013 Bruchmeisterallee<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3 data-section-id=\"pbabt6\" data-start=\"1591\" data-end=\"1623\">Robert-Enke-Stra\u00dfe car park<\/h3><p data-start=\"1625\" data-end=\"1718\">The car park on Robert-Enke-Stra\u00dfe (96 car park) is from the <strong data-start=\"1688\" data-end=\"1708\">20 to 27 July<\/strong> blocked.<\/p><p data-start=\"1720\" data-end=\"1910\">The <strong data-start=\"1729\" data-end=\"1774\">Cycle route: Sportpark\/Robert-Enke car park<\/strong> is from the <strong data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1810\">19 July to 12 August<\/strong> closed. A signposted diversion is in place via Beuermannstra\u00dfe and Robert-Enke-Stra\u00dfe.<\/p><h3>Rudolf-von-Bennigsen Embankment<\/h3><p data-start=\"1942\" data-end=\"2200\">Due to construction work and the competitions, the cycle route will be closed from <strong data-start=\"2014\" data-end=\"2034\">14 to 18 July<\/strong> as well as by the <strong data-start=\"2045\" data-end=\"2065\">27 to 30 July<\/strong>Closed just past Aspria Hannover. Cyclists can use the cycle path on the opposite side of the road during this time.<\/p><h3 data-section-id=\"giu6un\" data-start=\"2202\" data-end=\"2224\">Cycle path along Lake Masch<\/h3><p data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2292\">A temporary cycle path will be set up during the Maschsee Festival.<\/p><p data-start=\"2294\" data-end=\"2540\">The cycle path leading into the city runs along the carriageway on the east side of Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer, between Altenbekener Damm and Kurt-Schwitters-Platz. The usual cycle path directly alongside the Maschsee is closed during this period.<\/p><p data-start=\"2542\" data-end=\"2682\">In addition, a temporary cycle path will be set up on Arthur-Menge-Ufer between the Courtyard Hotel and Kurt-Schwitters-Platz.<\/p><h3 data-section-id=\"1yfkspo\" data-start=\"2684\" data-end=\"2699\">Car traffic<\/h3><p data-start=\"2701\" data-end=\"2821\">The Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer is from the <strong data-start=\"2739\" data-end=\"2759\">22 to 27 July<\/strong> Closed to traffic from Riepestra\u00dfe onwards.<\/p><h3 data-section-id=\"1n0eksm\" data-start=\"2823\" data-end=\"2844\">Western South City<\/h3><p data-start=\"2846\" data-end=\"3009\">In order to reduce the amount of traffic searching for parking spaces around the Maschsee, the area between the Maschsee and Hildesheimer Stra\u00dfe will be temporarily closed to through traffic.<\/p><p data-start=\"3011\" data-end=\"3027\"><strong data-start=\"3011\" data-end=\"3027\">Closing times:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"3029\" data-end=\"3135\"><li data-section-id=\"hn83q\" data-start=\"3029\" data-end=\"3073\">Wednesday &amp; Thursday: <strong data-start=\"3054\" data-end=\"3073\">5.00 pm\u20138.00 pm<\/strong><\/li><li data-section-id=\"1fhxwqq\" data-start=\"3074\" data-end=\"3104\">Friday: <strong data-start=\"3085\" data-end=\"3104\">5.00 pm\u201310.00 pm<\/strong><\/li><li data-section-id=\"1ejpc7p\" data-start=\"3105\" data-end=\"3135\">Saturday: <strong data-start=\"3116\" data-end=\"3135\">5.00 pm\u201310.30 pm<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3137\" data-end=\"3472\">During the first week of the Maschsee Festival (<strong data-start=\"3190\" data-end=\"3206\">22\u201325 July<\/strong>) due to the finals taking place at the same time, road closures will begin as early as midday (depending on the day of the event, between <strong data-start=\"3339\" data-end=\"3362\">12:00 and 16:00<\/strong>).
