Information on tickets within the Hannover Region

Travelling by train

For travelling to and from the Hannover Region, we recommend the Tickets of the Greater Hannover Transport Authority (GVH)which are also valid on the S-Bahn and on DB Regio, metronom, erixx and WestfalenBahn trains (in 2nd carriage class in each case).

If you are travelling from the surrounding area, we recommend using the Hannover S-Bahn. It runs directly to Hanover Central Station.

The S-Bahn Hannover connects the main station with the surrounding area at least every hour until midnight. Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday there is also Night star traffic.
