Final results of Maschseefest 2024: Perfect conditions and full speed ahead - Maschseefest attracts around 2.15 million visitors

The sails were set and the weather played along: With an average of seven and a half hours of sunshine a day and pleasantly balmy summer evenings, Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH (HVG) welcomed around 2.15 million visitors to the Maschsee Festival over 19 days.

In the first nine days, the Maschseefest in Hanover attracted more than 900,000 guests. This Friday, at least 100,000 visitors are expected to attend, meaning that the Maschseefest will break the million barrier right on time for half-time. "We are delighted with the great response and are optimistic about the second half of the festival," says Hans Nolte, head of Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH (HVG).

This Wednesday saw the start of the Maschseefest 2024 in Hanover. Over 19 days, from 31 July to 18 August, Germany's largest lake festival and also Lower Saxony's largest street festival offers international gastronomy, an extensive stage and music programme with more than 200 acts as well as numerous offers for children and families. This maritime festival in the heart of Lower Saxony's state capital extends the summer holidays by two and a half weeks. Around two million visitors are expected to attend Hanover's summer highlight.

KONE is the new partner of the Maschsee Pavilion

Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH (HVG) has gained KONE, a global market leader in the lift, escalator and automatic door industry, as a new partner for the Maschsee Pavilion. KONE will sponsor the prominent location on the north bank of the lake until 2026 and will make it shine in bright blue.
