Northern Germany’s biggest lakeside festival is once again attracting huge crowds for its 38th edition: 2.3 million visitors are celebrating the Maschseefest 2026.

It’s the final stretch for the last week of the holidays and the Maschsee Festival. There’s still plenty for families to enjoy at Hanover’s Maschsee – from the children’s play area and the Maschsee Pirates to the Ferris wheel and torchlight swim, not to mention music, ice cream and pedalos.
