Press release on the revised security plan

Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH (HVG) is, as a precautionary measure and in close consultation with the police, the fire service and the City of Hanover, adjusting the security plan for the Maschseefest. Please refer to the attached press release for further details.

The Maschsee Festival and the 2026 Finals are now open!

The 38th Maschseefest was officially opened on Wednesday with a spectacular opening show on a floating stage – held for the first time in conjunction with Germany’s largest multi-sport event, the Finals 2026. Hannover is now fully immersed in the spirit of summer, festival atmosphere and top-class sport.
