The first Rendezvous Sunday starts at 4 p.m. with a welcome by presenter Christoph Dannowski and the first talk on the main stage: Region President Steffen Krach talks about his region, which is the size of Saarland and has well over a million inhabitants. Before Federal President Christian Wulffwho still represents Germany in the Asian region, will be the guest of Juan Schmid and his Live band Soulviertel. 

It gets colourful and creative at around 4.45 pm with the fashion show by Designer Franzi Kordiswhose models carry creations from various Hanover labels across the stage. On HAJ Sunday, of course, the Hanover-Langenhagen Airport Lower Saxony's gateway to the world. And another political guest: at around 5.20 p.m. Lord Mayor Belit Onay from his town hall, he is the highest-ranking host of the Maschsee Festival.

Fancy some action? Then watch the Karate Kids by world record holder Kerim Duygu, with little athletes whirling across the stage to great effect. Even after the second set of Soul quarter it remains musical: Hannover tanzt am See is a Dance workshop of the two Bothe dance schools, anyone and everyone can dance along from 6.15 pm under professional guidance. With DJ music from Jasper or Dima the evening ends at around 8 pm.
