Which musicians define the city’s sound? Which talents are worth keeping an eye on? And just how diverse is Hannover’s music scene? Last year’s Maschseefest provided a splendid answer. At the first „Musste Hören“ festival, more than a dozen musicians each performed three songs, accompanied by a live band formed especially for the occasion. The diversity of pop music was celebrated with a dedicated music fair. And, of course, such an impressive festival simply has to be repeated. Performing at the third edition are: KARGO, Mama, Linski, Jeanie, Esther Odefey, VINTER, Reddym, Kunstloses Brot, Toni Vice and Janyna. The accompanying band consists of Musical Director Nic Knoll, Peer Bothmer, Lena Plogsties, Stefan Püschel and Finn MacCormac. The HAZ crew, led by Volker Wiedersheim and Emily Bader, has further surprises in store. You couldn’t get more of Hannover’s pop culture in a single evening.
