The Shanty-Chor-Lohnde can look back on more than 35 years of musical seafaring. Performances throughout northern Germany, on radio and television – including ZDF and RTL – alongside renowned artists, as well as on international stages, have made the crew popular and well-known far beyond the borders of their home town. Whether at the Harbour Birthday celebrations in Bristol, the Steuben Parade in New York, or on cruise ships from Nice to St Petersburg. The Shanty Choir Lohnde takes the audience on a musical journey across the world’s seas and delights them with a varied repertoire. The programme is rounded off by charming presentation.
In addition to sea shanties, hits by the Beatles, Freddy or Karat, the programme also includes songs from the North German homeland.
